Amy Fisher, also known formerly as the “Long Island Lolita,” has signed an exclusive contract with the adult production company Dreamzone Entertainment to produce and star in her very own adult movies.

Fisher created her own production company, Amy Fisher Productions, after the success of her amateur sex tape that was released in 2007. Fisher will begin production in Los Angeles on four adult movies this summer, which will be released later this year and in 2011. Fisher will become an exclusive contract star for Dreamzone Entertainment. A much larger spread indeed America’s oldest continually operating cattle ranch, Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk is also on the market for the first time in many years. The circa 1658 ranch, which some call the birthplace of the American cowboy, spans an impressive 22.3 acres of pristine Montauk land. The compound includes several working barns, a 5,000-square-foot antique timber framed farmhouse, and a 2-acre buildable lot. How much, you ask? Insiders say somewhere around $14 million.

The New York Post’s Jennifer Gould Keil reports that American Hotel owner and local legend Ted Conklin has officially put his two Sag Harbor homes on the market for about $10 million. Conklin recently wed socialite Carol Simmons and the couple will be spending more time in East Hampton and Palm Beach where Simmons has homes. Buzz circulating is he will soon put the much loved American Hotel on the block for a cool $25 million. Food and wine enthusiasts will be devastated if this happens. The bar and restaurant in the historic structure is a favorite of such locals as Alec Baldwin and Billy Joel. The late Roy Schneider and his family lived there for a spell after selling their Sagaponack beach house to Joel for his the bride Katie Lee while waiting for their Sag Harbor house to be built.

The 1843 Greek Revival House she once shared with Ex Peter Cook overlooking Sag Harbor and Shelter Island is marked at $15.75 million. The home has sweeping bay views from every room in the house and sits on 4.5 acres. Only bad karma is that this is the house allegedly where Cook had an affair with a teenage toy store employee Diana Bianchi.

One place Madonna isn’t having a real estate headache is in Midtown. Macy’s Herald Square is giving up some serious prime property for the debut of Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon’s new clothing line – some 4,000 square and will host appearances by the line’s spokeswoman Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen (for the big launch on Aug. 3) and Madonna and Lola on Sept. 22. This will be a line of junior clothing just in time for back to school shopping. If you remember the 80′s, there wasn’t a girl who didn’t want to dress like the Material Girl, while most parents raised issue with the lack of material. Nonetheless, Madonna has always been a fashion forward trendsetter. Stella McCartney is the one to credit for developing Lourdes’ fashion designing, which she started at age 8-that must be the magical year for the most talented people. Despite these grand orchestrations, the MG line is sure to be compared to the spate of teen-celeb collections recently launched or planned: Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift for Wal-Mart, Selena Gomez for Kmart, Britney Spears for Kohl’s and the list keeps growing.

Madonna is also running into a few hurdles with her latest property acquisition in Bridgehampton – only her problems are man made and don’t involve yucky thins like black mold. County Planning Commissioner Thomas Isles wrote a letter to Southampton Town demanding that a stop work order be issued on Madonna’s new fence. That order was issued on July 7. The county farmland committee is expected to review the fence at its next regular meeting. Folks in the know say it will probably as it is a low split rail fence commonly seen on farms.
But know it’s her hedges that are raising concern. Madge’s privet hedge might be considered a windbreak, which would be a legitimate farm use. Or, it might be considered a privacy fence, which would not be legal and would have to be removed. “You would have to be sure it (the privet) has an agricultural purpose,” Isles said. “Those screens require approval before installation.” He said that, if the farmland committee ultimately rules the privet is a privacy screen, not a windbreak, the county could order the plants removed.

Not all the Hamptonites are – well – in the Hamptons. As always there is a large contingent that heads off for the South of France for a spot of yachting. Denise Rich will stage her annual dinner aboard her yacht, Lady Joy. The guest list of 250 celebrities reads like the Cote d’Azur Hall of Fame: George Hamilton, Regine, Jean Pigozzi, Joan Collins and Count Eric Wachtmeister, and Adnan and Lamia Khashoggi. Denise has hired local singing sensations the Gypsy Queens, described as “four gorgeous guys,” to help sell tables to her Oct. 21 Angel Ball in New York. Southampton’s Roberto and Joanne DeGuardiola will pop over from their sleek yacht, Audacia while Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman and wife Christine are staying in a villa in the nearby foothills.

That sounds like the set-up for a punch-line to a joke, but it’s a question that will get an answer for the first time in history when “ROCK CON: Weekend of 100 Rock Stars” comes together next weekend at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

The Summer’s most anticipated festival for music fans and collectors is expected to draw thousands of attendees who will meet, enjoy concerts by, listen to interviews with, and actually hang out with musicians, singers, pop personalities and rock icons from all eras of rock & roll. With this weekend’s oppressive heat and humidity, we decided to forgo our planned jaunt to the beach to scout locations with producer Phil Michas and director Joey Mega Hrtz for a planned reality show featuring my boss Times Square Gossip Editor James Edstrom. Instead, we convened on a local institution, The Driver’s Seat Restaurant to fuel up for hitting the streets and checking out some old faves as well as the new kids on the block on Southampton Village’s tony shopping meccas – Job’s Lane and Main Street. Our gracious host proprietor Irma Herzog had the Prosecco chilled upon our arrival with which our pal Sidii Belqaid kept our glasses filled as we settled in for lunch in air-conditioned splendor! Gorging ourselves on the juiciest hamburgers, cheese oozing quesadillas, spicy barbecued pulled pork sliders and fresh off the boat fish & chips, we felt ready to tour the tony enclave to film B roll for what is sure to be a reality first. The big cameras get rolling in two weeks to film the adventures and mis-adventures of one of New York’s best photographers. We just hope the world is ready for some real reality!

Stepping into the tiny boutique, we found out exactly where celebs like Paris Hilton, Beth Stern and Rachael Ray get the designer duds for their pampered pooches. Little Lucy has everything from Swarovski studded collars to “Badass” biker jackets for your canine companion. Lucy’s was started 10 years ago after owner Patricia Hurley adopted Little Lucy from ARF Animal Rescue in Wainscott, NY. Patricia promotes adoption rather than “buying” a dog from a pet store. She has a corner of the store that is dedicated to promoting local adoption and rescue.

Right across the street just outside of Little Lucy’s Canine Couture Boutique on Job’s Lane, we ran into our former Lieutenant Governor Betsey McCaughey, laden with shopping bags. Betsey delightedly told us, “I’m doing my bit to keep the economy going – I’m shopping! Echoing our feelings, she said, ”It’s way to hot for the beach – but not for shopping”.

Returning for his second season is Brooklynite Peter Hanuel with his hip shirts, tees and shoes with a Billy-burg meets country twist. Located in the courtyard on Jobs Lane, his shop Edition 002 is a welcome sight for the guys who aren’t into the Polo or pastel looks. Definitely a perfect place for the club scenesters.

My longtime friend Barbara Warner who is something of a legend in the world of fashion and retailing opened H. Groome Fine Furnishings for the Home on Main Street some 11 years ago and has not looked back; she scours the globe for unique one of a kind items to fill her shop. John Rist focuses on immense hand carved and painted fish that have found their way into many of the areas homes. In addition to being accomplished artists, the family is known throughout the Hamptons for their generous philanthropy. Rare is the local event that does not have the Rist family as sponsors.

Besim Cukaj runs the Hamptons most exclusive emporium for fine cigars and tobacco products. Until recently, gents – and some ladies, too – could often be found puffing their stogies in his club-like lounge but the rules have changed and Besim’s band of followers have to hit the streets or the back courtyard to enjoy their smokes.

“This will be a watershed moment not only for the Museum, but also for the community. The new Parrish will offer the entire region and beyond expanded opportunities for seeing, experiencing, and learning about art through our collection of more than 2,600 works, and temporary exhibitions,” noted Parrish Director Terrie Sultan. “With this new building, the Parrish will take its rightful place as a major museum and a center for cultural engagement.”

The Museum hosted a groundbreaking media conference at the new site at 279 Montauk Highway, Watermill, New York on Monday, July 19, 2010 to officially mark the commencement of construction. Governor of New York, David A. Paterson, who gave the first speech remarked: “Today we are breaking ground on a new era for the Parrish Art Museum, and adding a new thread to our state’s cultural tapestry. I’m confident that

it will be a guiding light for future artists whose work will inspire us to think and to feel the way that only great art truly can.”

Other speakers included Tim Bishop, Congressman, New York’s First Congressional District; Anna Throne-Holst, Supervisor, Town of Southampton; Terrie Sultan, Director of the Parrish Art Museum; Norman Peck, Treasurer of Parrish, President of the Peter Jay Sharp Foundation; Dorothy Lichtenstein, Trustee and Secretary of the Parrish Board of Trustees; and, Alexandra Stanton, Vice President, Parrish Board of Trustees.

Located on the north side of Montauk Highway and designed by the world-renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron, the new Parrish is a horizontal structure nestled discreetly in the landscape. Consisting of two parallel wings joined by a central circulation spine running the length of the building, the new facility will be nearly twice the size of the existing Museum.

The 34,500 square-foot Museum will feature more than 12,000 square feet of pristine and flexible gallery spaces with some 4,500 square feet for special exhibitions and 7,500 dedicated to installations of the Museum’s important permanent collection. A series of north-facing skylights will allow for natural, north light to be evenly filtered throughout the galleries. “The galleries are the heart and soul of the new Museum,” according to Alicia Longwell, Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chief Curator, Art and Education. “Now, for the first time, the Parrish will have the wherewithal to make available on a permanent basis our distinguished collection of American art from the nineteenth century to the present, while simultaneously presenting special exhibitions.”

The Museum will also include educational and multi-purpose spaces, a generous and light filled lobby, a shop, and a café. The design incorporates administrative offices and onsite space for storage and care of the permanent collection. The exterior walls of poured-inplace concrete are deeply recessed under a long and elegant white corrugated metal roof and incorporate opportunities for views through the Museum and into the surrounding landscape. Covered porches and terraces will provide additional opportunities for enjoyment of the setting.

“We are excited to offer the Long Island community in two years from now, a generous sequence of northern lit galleries invoking the spirit of the East End artists’ studio. A continuous gathering porch will unify the entire Museum under one roof creating a new building type that connotes the vernacular of local farm buildings.” noted Ascan Mergenthaler, Senior Partner, Herzog & de Meuron.

Like the building itself which resembles the old potato barns that dotted the East End landscape for centuries, the landscape will evoke the heritage of the East End. The site will be reshaped into a meadow with grasses and native wildflowers, rising toward an oak and birch woodland at the northern boundary.

A special feature of the new design is the creation of public areas for contemplation and social interaction. Conceived as a single, integrated work, the architecture and landscape will offer the public a unified and cohesive experience year-round. “Since artists first traveled to the East End in the nineteenth century to paint outdoors, art, and nature have been intertwined here,” said Parrish Trustee Dorothy Lichtenstein widow of the late acclaimed artist Roy Lichtenstein. “The architects’ vision expresses the interconnectedness, from galleries whose proportions and natural light reference artist studios, to porches, terraces, and window walls that connect the interior of the building to the landscape outside.”

The Parrish Art Museum’s building campaign has raised almost 70% of the funds needed to reach the goal of $25 million. As the Parrish moves forward with construction, it continues to receive strong support. Many of the country’s leading arts and culture philanthropists have made Founding Partners gifts to the Capital Campaign, including: Fiona and Stanley Druckenmiller; Norman and Liliane Peck and The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation; the Carroll Petrie Foundation; The Harriet and Esteban Vicente Foundation; The Robert Lehman Foundation, Inc.; Dorothy Lichtenstein; Ronald and Jo Carole Lauder; Mildred C. In spite of the economic challenges of the past year, we are well situated to move forward with this magnificent project, creating a major center for art on Long Island’s East End.”

Since the mid 1950s the Museum has grown and changed from a small village art gallery into an important art museum with a collection of more than 2,600 works of art by contemporary painters and sculptors such as John Chamberlain, Chuck Close, Eric Fischl, April Gornik, Elizabeth Peyton, as well as such masters as Dan Flavin, Roy Lichtenstein, Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, and Willem de Kooning.

The Parrish houses one of the world’s most important collections of works by the preeminent American Impressionist William Merritt Chase, and by the groundbreaking Post-war American realist painter, Fairfield Porter. The Parrish is a vital cultural resource serving a diverse audience, organizing and presenting exhibitions to make a broad range of art available to the community.
